Cornelius Planning Commission
The Planning Commission meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7pm at Cornelius Civic Center, Council Chambers, 1355 N. Barlow St. in Cornelius. When the need arises, the Planning Commission also meets in the same location at 7pm on the second Tuesday of the month.

The City of Cornelius Planning Commission consists of seven members appointed by the Mayor for four-year terms.
The Commission plays an integral role in the growth-related issues of the City. The Planning Commission's responsibilities include assisting the City Council to develop, maintain, update, and implement the City Comprehensive Plan and development code provisions, and to review and take action on development projects.
